LEASK – Robert Everett (Bob) passed away on August 10th, 2011 in the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital at the age of 79 years. Born in Cranbrook, BC on May 5th, 1932. Pre-deceased by his brother Gordon. Survived by his wife Marlene; daughters, Maureen (Joseph), Karen, Cheryl (Barry); granddaughter, Jennifer; twin-sister, Melvina; brother, Jim and sister Sharon. Bob had a wonderful career as a fireman, and was Fire Chief on Salt Spring Island through the 80’s, retiring after 40 years. He spent 20 years in the Yukon Territory.
