Jackie Walton, nee Firth
Born September 4, 1943, Yorkshire England. Died peacefully March 20, 2013 in Lady Minto Hospital. Jackie graduated from King George High School in Vancouver in 1961 and married Colin Walton in 1963. Mother of Denise, David and Roger.
Jackie served her community as a district commissioner and in the Provincial Emergency Program in many capacities. Jackie loved cruise holidays, Hawaii and the Cook Islands. She also loved photography and tropical flowers. Her greatest treasure was her nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm, Monday, April 1st, 2013 at Christ of Latter Day Saints, 221 Vesuvius Bay Road, Salt Spring Island.
