A Friday Affair – The Sequin Shines!

A fundraising evening of burlesque, drag, music, comedy and more! For mature audiences (16+) at ArtSpring. 7:30 p.m. Show is a fundraiser for the Mamma Priscilla – The Sequin production in March. 

A Friday Affair features: poet/writer Julian Paquette; Queer as Funk keyboardist/singer Luis Pablo Melgar; drag queen extraordinaire Symone Says; burlesque siren Patrice Bowler; burlesque icons Draco Muff-Boi and Ginger Femmecat; drag king Sir Ryan Real; drag kings and queens from Mamma Priscilla – The Sequin. Hosted by Lisa Dahling.

Shared profits from this event will be used for production cost of “Mamma Priscilla ~ The Sequin.” The other half of the profits will be gifted to a long-time friend of the performing arts community on Salt Spring who has been dealing with serious health issues this past year.
