ANNE VODDEN

(née Swaykowski)

DEC 13, 1919 –

AUG 25, 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of long time Salt Spring Island resident Anne Vodden. Anne was predeceased by her parents, brothers Peter, Wally and Joe, sister Rose and first husband Mike Sober. Anne is survived by her husband Nels, brothers Vic (Elaine) and Alec, children Marcy (Dave), Wayne (Greg) and Brian (Brenda). Also survived by grandchildren Darcy (Curtis), Lindsay (Isidro), Robyn (Damian), Justine (Yasu), Rebecca and great grand-daughters Eden and Eiko. Anne was an avid golfer and bowler as well as an active member of the Ganges United Church. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Greenwoods Elder Care Home for the compassionate care over the past 3 years.

There will not be a service by request. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer Society of BC or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
