BRUCE HENRY WARREN KIRWIN

August 14th, 2009

Bruce peacefully passed away surrounded by his family.

He leaves his wife, Elizabeth, of 67 years and was predeceased by son Richard, father of David (Norah), Harry (Elaine), Jill (Bob), Jehanne and little Tilley. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Don, Lindsay, Katie & great grandchild Zoe.

Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Graduated from Bishop’s University, BSC. High school principal of Bedford, Sutton & Morin Heights schools in Quebec. World War ll veteran, ski and mountaineer instructor of the Lovat Scouts in Jasper, BC. His roots on Lake Memphremagog, Quebec had a special place in his heart. An avid golfer, Dufferin Heights and Vermont State Senior champion (twice). Member of SS Golf & Country Club, he proudly received Honorary lifetime membership on his 90th birthday. Bruce loved his family, sports and life. He will be dearly missed by all.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Kirwin residence: 110 Fairview Road Friday, August 21st. 2 – 5 pm for all wishing to remember him.
