Donation Drop-off Day for Giant Book & Jewellery Sales

Bring good-quality donations of books and jewellery for Salt Spring Literacy’s fall sales to drop-off days at the Country Grocer parking lot — north side, around the corner from the liquor store — from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month until Oct. 4.

Please note that textbooks, magazines, condensed books, outdated reference books, or books that are mouldy or in poor condition cannot be accepted.

Home visits or other arrangements can be set up through the Salt Spring Literacy office at 250-537-9717 or info@saltspringliteracy.org.

Jewellery can also be dropped off at Mondo Trading and the Salt Spring Literacy office, and at a new depot at Island Savings in the summer and the Salt Spring Public Library in September.

The 2018 Giant Book & Jewellery Sale is on Nov. 16-18 at the Salt Spring Farmers’ Institute.
