Garry Oak Meadow Marathon

The Raymond M. Goodall Nature Preserve needs a helping hand to remove the invasive plants that harm the natural Garry oak habitat on this conservation area at the south end of Salt Spring.

Join the Nature Conservancy of Canada on Salt Spring Island as we tackle the weeds while enjoying this beautiful ecological reserve with spectacular views of Tth’umuqwa (Russell Island). During our lunch break we will be treated to a special talk by acclaimed naturalist, writer and educator — and Salt Spring local — Briony Penn.
