Life, Culture and Spirituality of the Sapara

Health practitioners Kim Hanson, Petra Hasenfratz, and Cal Steel present day-long on the life, culture and spirituality of the Sapara people of the Ecuadorian Amazon, who they have been working with for the past four years.

The morning of the workshop will consist of a slide show, followed by a discussion of the Sapara world view and the experiences of these three women with the tribe over five visits. The afternoon will be a more experiential period, with some time outdoors and opportunity for journaling. The leaders will also be responding to the specific interests of participants.
