Reconciliation Reading Circles

Reconciliation reading circles starting in fall for 5 weeks. Join others in reading They Called Me Number One by Bev Sellars. In these Reading Circles, we explore Bev Sellars’ frank and poignant memoir, in which she shares her personal account of her residential school experience and articulates her own path to healing. Library staff will facilitate the discussion to expand our understanding of local Indigenous history, impacts of colonialism and its ongoing effects on Indigenous peoples. Limited to 15 participants. Books provided. Pre-Registration required at the library information desk, where you can pick up your book.
