Salt Spring Historical Society Panel Unveiling

Unveiling of a n new interpretive panel about Isaburo Tasaka’s masonry work on foundation rock wall under the Mouat Hardware store. Isaburo’s grandchildren, Chuck Tasaka and Yvonne Wakabayashi, will be present at the event. The interpretive panel was created by the Salt Spring Historical Society in conjunction with the Salt Spring Foundation and Mouat’s Trading Co. Ceremony to take place on the boardwalk behind the Tree House Cafe. 2 p.m.
