Tacking Against the Wind: Non-profits in a Climate of Uncertainty 

Volunteer and Community Resources invites members as well as others in the community to join them at their AGM with keynote speaker Peter Elson, adjunct assistant professor with UVic’s School of Public Administration. SS Public Library. 4 to 6 p.m. The 20-minute talk followed by a Q&A period will explore the questions of 1) why not-for-profit organizations exist at all, 2) Vital Signs and the opportunity it represents, and 3) The importance of stories and connecting community and the not-for-profit sector.
