UNDRIP: A Step Forward With MLA Adam Olsen

In 2017 the B.C. NDP government committed to adopting and implementing the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). This agreement stresses self-determination for Indigenous peoples to protect their languages, cultures, laws and economies. In British Columbia land settlements and resource allocation are fundamental issues that will need to be addressed.
