Local author presents newest kids' book Up in Arms. Salt Spring Public Library. 1 to 2 p.m.

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month with Anna and Monika, for everyone ages 9 to 12. Fall books are: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Oct. 10 & 24; Tuck Everlasting, Nov. 14 & 28; The Griffin of Darkwood, Dec. 12. Room 106. 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Fridays at 2:30, for families with kids ages six and up. Kids under 10 must be signed in and out.
