Speakers are Munehiko Iwaya, an executive with the Japan Charcoal Promotion Society; Steve Nemtin, a local historical kiln expert based on Galiano; and Brian Smallshaw, a historian whose focus is on the Japanese Canadian history. Salt Spring Library Program Room. 2 to 3:30 p.m.
