Speakers dive into how they succeeded to where they are today\, their visions and hopes for the future\, and their advice to women aiming to succeed in our 21st century world. Moderated by photographer and journalist Connie Kuhns\, this conversation explores the joys and pitfalls of living and succeeding in a small\, island community. There will also be discussion on the many different levels of success and how for many\, being healthy and happy can be a huge achievement in itself. \nAmazing Island Women is presented in concurrence with Homage\, a unique\, beautiful and powerful exhibition of 40 tailor-made and exquisite necklaces designed and created for 40 of Canada’s most iconic women. Through design and choice of material\, each piece celebrates the achievements\, talents\, perseverance and character of their dedicated icon\, and is accompanied by a biography and a drawing of each woman.
