Mel Williamson, born and raised on Salt Spring, has completed 13 new oil paintings ranging in size and subject matter. Opening night is Friday, July 20th, 5 to 8 pm with the artist in attendance. Refreshments will be served. The show runs until July 30th at Steffich Fine Art.

Artists' reception for the SSI Painters’ Guild annual Summer Art Show and Sale. ArtSpring. 2 to 4:30 p.m. Show opens Saturday, July 28 at 1 p.m. and closes Sunday, Aug. 5 at 4 p.m.

Reception for Hedgerow House Artist of the Month Ulana Switucha. 5 to 7 p.m. Hedgerow House owners Peter and Jayne Lloyd-Jones welcome guests to view Ulana’s work over a glass of wine and snacks. Located on Salt Spring, Ulana travels the world to capture people and places that will take your breath away.
