Annual sale of great quality mostly used books and jewellery at the Farmers' Institute. Friday, Nov. 3 through Sunday, Nov. 5. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Funds benefit the Salt Spring Literacy Society.

Featuring Ralph Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem and other pieces. With guests Canadian soprano Suzie LeBlanc and baritone Hans Grunwald and the Makana Youth Choir. Preceded by a community singalong of popular songs from the WWI and WWII periods half an hour before the concerts.
