Harris Patton
1938 ~ 2014
Harris was born on the family farm in Saskatchewan. As a young adult he worked his way west to Prince George where he met and married Dorothy, his wife of almost forty five years, and became instant Dad to Darcy, Peter and Brenda. The new family relocated to the Lower Mainland where they lived and worked until 1992 when they moved to their new home on Salt Spring Island.
Throughout his life Harris was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed playing softball, curling, hockey and golf, but he loved to watch any kind of sport.
Harris is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, children Darcy, Peter (Tracie), and Brenda (Neil), seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, his sisters Lorraine and Phyllis and their families. He was predeceased by his parents and his eldest sister.
