Katherine LAUTENSLAGER (nee Boyko)

It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Katherine Lautenslager, on September 14, 2008.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-five years Arnold and her children, Rick (Laurie) Lautenslager, Jane (Greg) Hicklin, and Greg Lautenslager (David Webb); as well as grandchildren, Jaclyn, Aaron, James and Dana.

Katherine lived a very full life, travelling extensively to all corners of the world and especially enjoyed her cruises and trips to Europe, DisneyWorld and South Africa. She found beauty in simplicity, such as her love for nature, animals, music and dancing. Katherine’s unconditional love and guidance given to her children will be missed and forever treasured.

A family Memorial Service will be held on Salt Spring Island, a place Katherine held dear to her heart. Family and friends can honour Katherine’s selfless generosity, through memorial contributions to a charity most meaningful to the donor. To email expressions of sympathy: heritage@hffs.com, subject heading: Katherine Lautenslager.
