GRUNDY, Lexi Jade, 16
of Bridgetown, formerly of Salt Spring Island. Lexi went to heaven December 24, 2008 from the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Our little angel now has her wings.
Born in Rimby, Alberta, she was the daughter of Michael and Angela (Brown) Grundy.
Lexi’s sweet soul and kind heart touched everybody she knew very deeply. She had a great love for her sisters and her Mom and Dad. Lexi recently found another great love and that was Andrew. Lexi loved her kitty Endora and would play for hours with her. Lexi also had some very close friends that will deeply feel her absence, as will her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lexi loved life and everything about it.
Lexi is survived by her parents, her sisters, Brittany of Salt Spring Island, Chanel and Mikhaela both at home, paternal grandparents Tom and Judy Grundy of Salt Spring Island, maternal grandmothers: Eve Brown of Edmonton and Bernice Brown of Alberta.
Visitation and Funeral services were held by the Rev. Barry Aitken at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home in Bridgetown. Donations in Lexi’s memory may be sent to the Neuro Surgery Unit at the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Email condolences may be sent to:
