Norman Stuart Hale

Norman Stuart Hale born in Vancouver died suddenly while on his morning walk.
He leaves behind Lois, his loving wife and soulmate of 46 years, children Marc (Joyce) and Kathryn, stepchildren Dan (June) and Lisa (Shael), along with 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Norm was a long time Salt Spring Island resident and leaves behind many good friends.
Norm (Dad) was very proud of his family and never missed the opportunity to talk of their accomplishments. Norm enjoyed nothing better than working on his property, reading the Economist, and ‘kibitzing’ with Lois in the kitchen. He was a fun loving, caring, loyal, and humble man who, with his big smile, always made you feel extraordinarily special.
