William (Bill) Gordon Hitcock

William (Bill) Gordon Hitchcock

Sept. 2 1935 – May 6 2013

With great sadness we announce the passing of Bill Hitchcock on May 6, 2013. Bill was born on Sept. 2, 1935 to Edward and Francis Hitchcock of Burnaby, BC. Bill was predeceased by his wife Dorothy. Surviving him are one brother, Fred Hitchcock and two sons, Gordon and Robert and five grandchildren Braeden, Kirsten, Bethany, Zachary, and Juliet.

Bill loved fishing and really appreciated going out on the water even after he “retired”. He slowed down on the fishing when his kids were in high school and started his own school bus business so he could be home more. Bill loved his friends and the time he could be out shooting the breeze with them. He will be missed by many as he always had a corny joke on hand and a story from the old days.

Memorial arrangements are being made for May. Contact Rob Hitchcock at rias@qcislands.net for the time and place.
