Alan died quietly in Lady Minto Hospital after a long struggle with failing kidneys complicated by pneumonia.
Born in Summerland, BC, son of Lucy and John Kirk, deceased.
Alan is survived by his sister Muriel in Calgary. Deeply missing him are: his loving wife Elizabeth (Betty) and his five sons, Robert of Christina Lake, John (Catherine) of Murphys Creek, Australia, Andrew (Denise) in Port Moody, David (Kim) in Calgary, and Brian (Mwejolon) in the Marshall Islands. We were blessed with four grand daughters Rity, Elizabeth, Margaret and Sophie.
