Elizabeth Sipos
March 27, 1921 – April 11, 2016
Elizabeth died peacefully at Greenwoods on Monday, having just reached her 95th birthday on Easter Sunday. She was born in Hungary and came to Canada in 1957 with her husband Endre, who died in 1988, and son George.
During the six years she spent on Salt Spring she was wonderfully looked after first at Braehaven and then at Greenwoods. In both these homes she received not only fine professional care but kindness and love from all she came in contact with.
George and Bridget and their daughters Emilie and Rosalind thank everyone who made her years on Salt Spring warm and fulfilling.
Elizabeth’s funeral will be held at the church of Our Lady of Hungary in Vancouver.
