Gene passed away suddenly on Monday Feb.23/09. He leaves his wife of 45 years, a daughter Jody, a son Mason (Tracy), and two granddaughters Spencer and Mackenzie.
Gene was born and raised in Calgary and moved with his family to Salt Spring Island in 1980.
Gene loved deeply and unconditionally his family, friends and pets. He loved all things sports, his garden and was stubborn to the core — that was Gene!
He will be always missed and forever loved by those whose lives he touched.
