First prize laureate of the prestigious 2016 Banff International String Quartet Competition, the Rolston String Quartet has become Canada’s newest ensemble attracting attention on the international stage. ArtSpring. 7:30 p.m. Bar opens at 6:30.  

Calgary-based group, including Salt Spring trumpet player Derrick Milton, performs at All Saints By-the-Sea beginning at 7:30 p.m. All-ages concert includes classical, jazz, movie music and even a little country. Tickets $20 for adults and $10 for students at Mondo Trading.

Remembering John with Boz Roz as John Lennon. Lions Hall. 8 p.m. (doors at 7:30 p.m.) The show is a musical/theatrical presentation of the music and persona of one of the great musical icons of our time - John Lennon - presented by Phil Rossner.  Tickets $20 at the door.
