She loved her family, friends, the daily word search, her favourite soap One Life to Live and also Judge Judy.

She had a phenomenal memory, loved knitting, crocheting and had a great sense of humour which we will all miss. Ivy was born in Fort William, Ontario and moved to SSI in 1957. None of her children had ever seen her angry she had great patience and loved children. Through the years she  baby sat dozens of children and thoroughly enjoyed it and missed them when they had to go home. She always read the daily paper and kept up with the news of the day. Everyone who had a dish of her blackberry crumble always asked for seconds. The service was held November 26th. with internment at the Central Cemetery. Anyone wishing to donate in Ivy’s name please donate to Seniors for Seniors this was one of her favourite things in her later years going to the seniors lunch and coffee sessions.
