Michael Bankes
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Michael.
He was born in Vancouver on Oct. 25, 1945 and left us for new adventures on January 5, 2014.
Our Mike was a “Force of Nature”, a force for good, fairness, love, and laughter at every opportunity. He gave the best hugs!
He is survived by his wife Marion, brother Paul (Colleen) and nephews Connor, Morgan and Nelson and brother Stephen (Carol).
Mike was a powerhouse of a man who embraced friendship and connections. He had a keen interest in all his family and friends and always made time to get together with them. He was beloved by children and animals alike.
Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We were all blessed to have the privilege of having him in our lives.
A Memorial Gathering will be announced at a later date. Deeply loved, forever missed.
