Rita Evans
April 12, 1929 – November 24, 2015
At the age of 86 Rita Evans passed peacefully at hospice in Victoria, B.C. on Tuesday, November 24th after living a rich and full life.
She committed her life to raising a family prior to moving to Saltspring Island, then volunteering at the Thrift Shop Lady Minto’s and Braehaven Seniors’ Home.
She enjoyed reading a book a day, afternoon walks, baking bread and cooking.
She will be dearly missed by her sons Stephen (Shirley), Michael (Jenny), Ross (Julie) and daughter Janice, grandson Douglas, and granddaughters Carla and Charlotte.
Rita is now with her late husband Charles, and her sisters and brothers celebrating the next stages in the afterlife.
