Born June 16, 1927 on Salt Spring Island, passed away peacefully March 26, 2009 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.
Predeceased by son Charlie. Survived by loving wife of 50 years Chris, daughters Marg (Paul Dayfoot) and Ann; grandchildren Ross and Alexis and many cherished relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held at Northwood United Church, in Surrey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Salt Spring Island Foundation.
