William Lindsay Beattie (Lin)
June 16, 1930 to September 29, 2015
Lin is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mavis, his daughter Kim (Norman) his son Patrick (Gail), and his beloved granddaughters Sara and Margaret, as well as his cousin Elizabeth Lane and her children and grandchildren. After spending many blissful summer vacations on Salt Spring Island, Lin and Mavis made the island their full time home in 1981. Prior to his move to Greenwoods in 2013, Lin and Mavis resided happily together at Braehaven. Lin’s family would like to thank Dr Woodley and Dr Leon, as well as the staff of Greenwoods and Braehaven for their kind care.
