Zoë Diane Woodside (nee Dockerill)

Zoë Diane Woodside (nee Dockerill)

1939 – 2015

Zoë grew up in West Vancouver, and later became a long-time resident of Saltspring Island. Predeceased by her parents, Doris and Phil, and her husband, Lynn, she is survived by her daughter Denise, grandson Garrett, sisters Avis (Frank), Sylvia (Sergey), brother Phil (Frances), and their families.

An accomplished seamstress and beautiful knitter, Zoë also enjoyed pottery. She loved to be on the dance floor, and as a teenager, taught us all how to do the twist. She had a special passion for afghan dogs. She was a successful entrepreneur, and with her husband by her side, opened a popular delicatessen store on the island, where she shared her gourmet talents.

A private family gathering will be held in her memory. She will be missed by her family and friends. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
