Kathleen Sandra Kibble
Born 1943, died peacefully February 28th, 2022 at Lady Minto Hospital.
Kathleen was a beloved daughter, wife, and mother. Devoted to her family, she provided them with a lifetime of love, support, and inspiration. Kathie was endlessly creative. She was a theatre designer, children’s theatre director, fine artist, dressmaker, dollmaker, miniature maker, genealogist and gardener. She was warm, open, and disarming and made remarkable connections and friendships wherever she went.
Daughter of Wayne and Marguerite Pearce, she is survived by her husband Roger; sister Patricia (Tom); children Jeffrey (Angel), Steven (Leah), Aimee and Wendy (Russell); beloved cousins, extended family, and dearly cherished friends. Kathie adored being a grandmother; first to Kate and Andrew, then blessed by Alysha, Cameron, and Tyler, and lastly to Adelaide and Marguerite.

I remember Kathie with great affection. We first met in about Grade 11 at Rideau High School in Ottawa, Ontario. A tight knit group of us chummed around together. Kathie’s parents were such warm and charming people. Kathie was in a folk duo and sang all over the Ottawa area. We have kept in sporadic communication ever since. She was a shining light that one could never forget. My thoughts are with my cousin Roger and their extended family.
